With over forty years of experience exploring the world’s wildest places, I have visited countless mountain ranges and climbed and skied many iconic peaks — including all of the Seven Summits.
Here are some of the adventures from the last five years:
2025
Pico da Neblina, deep in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon — an unforgettable expedition and trek with the Yanomami tribe through one of the most remote and awe-inspiring rainforests on Earth.
2024
North col of Everest. After waiting many years for China & Tibet to reopen we were lucky to be the first one back on the mountain and experience first hand the beauty, challenge of the incredible mountain. Everest, Chomolungma
2023
Morocco — A beautiful expedition combining the ascent of Mount Goun (the second-highest peak) and Mount Toubkal(the highest in the Atlas Mountains), followed by a short méharée across the stunning Sahara Desert.
2022
Ruwenzori Mountains — The third-highest peak in Africa and a true expedition. The journey includes crossing dense rainforest, traversing glaciated terrain, and challenging rock climbing — an awe-inspiring adventure that can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gorilla National Park.
2021
Experience ski touring in a completely different way — surrounded by incredible Arctic scenery. Glide over snow-covered mountains that rise above deep blue waters where whales roam free. From the comfort of a cozy boat, sail from fjord to fjord in search of the best snow and the magic of the northern lights.
2020
The highest peak in Western Europe, Mont Blanc offers a variety of classic and technical climbing routes. On the north side above Chamonix, climbers can ascend via the Goûter Hut or take on the stunning Traverse of the Three Monts. To the south, the route via the Gonella Hut leads to a wilder side of the mountain, with many challenging and seldom-explored technical lines.
2019
Located 100 km south of Cusco, Ausangate (6,384 m / 20,939 ft) dominates the Vilcanota Cordillera. Here, you can trek around the mountain, discovering the spectacular Rainbow Mountain, or attempt an ascent of this technical, glaciated peak — an incredible adventure in a truly magical region. Starting from Tinki and Pacchanta, mules carry the gear so you can fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery and Andean atmosphere.
